Online Workshop | Organized by DSC Kiel and CDS Cologne

Data Science / Machine Learning in Medical Research — 17 July 2024

Data Science / Machine Learning in Medical Research is a 4-hour online workshop organized by the Digital Science Center (DSC) at Kiel University (CAU) and the Center for Data and Simulation Science (CDS) at the University of Cologne (UoC), to exchange ideas on data science & machine learning, how CAU and UoC apply them in the medical field, and the inherent difficulty of acquiring data. We would like to understand the approach taken by the partnering institutions, their structural approach, applications, difficulties faced, and respective ideas and solutions. The organization of this event was sparked by an increased effort within the data science community of the DACH region to strengthen its network.
