EMS Topical Activity Group Scientific Machine Learning


The Second Annual Meeting (EMS TAG SciML 2026) of the Topical Activity Group on Scientific Machine Learning of the European Mathematical Society (EMS TAG SciML) will take place at the University of Cologne, Germany, on March 10-12, 2026. This conference will be hosted by the Center for Data and Simulation Science.

This event will bring together scientists from mathematics, computer science, and application areas working on computational and mathematical methods in Scientific Machine Learning. It will feature 11 invited plenary talks, poster sessions, and contributed talks.

The participation fee for the workshop is 150 €, which includes lunch, finger food, and coffee breaks throughout the event.

Information for Participants

  • Contributed talks will be allocated 20 minutes for the presentation, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion.
  • For those presenting posters, please prepare them in portrait orientation and in A0 format, if possible.
  • Keynotes will be allocated 40 minutes for the presentation, followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion.

The workshop will take place in the Seminar Building.
