DYNAVERSE – Our Dynamic Universe – is a joint Cluster of Excellence by the Universities of Cologne and Bonn. It aims to understand how dynamic processes across vastly different timescales—from plasma instabilities and stellar explosions to galactic and cosmological evolution—interconnect and shape the Universe. The project brings together astrophysics, mathematics, computer science, and data & simulation science to advance predictive modeling and AI-assisted analysis using exascale supercomputing.
